A long time ago, in June 2009, I had painted an abstract Ganesha on a 7×7 inch canvas using acrylics. I recently picked up another canvas the same size, so I decided to paint an abstract Goddess Lakshmi. I started the painting on Sunday, and finished it late last night. Similar to the Ganesha, I used only four colours, and knew it would work thanks to the Four Colour Theorem. Here is the final result!
